This category of visa caters for people wishing to stay in Germany for a period maximum 3 months and may be applied if the person does not have a guarantor in Germany and buys a tour in a travel agency, or make a booking of tickets and hotel.

| Travel Insurance Booking Service | Travel insurance is a coverage designed to protect against risks and financial losses that could happen while traveling. The risks range from minor inconveniences such as missed airline connections and delayed luggage all the way to more serious issues including injuries or major illness. At the BLS Germany Visa Application Center, staff will assist you to book the appropriate travel insurance required by the Embassy. The regular processing time for a Schengen visa is 15 calendar days according to the Schengen Visa Code. The visa office of the German Embassy Dublin usually decides on complete applications within 15 calendar days of receipt at the visa office (not after submission to BLS International). However, in some cases, the processing time might be longer, for example, if your documents need to be checked more thoroughly or you are asked to submit additional documents. In addition, transport from BLS International to the Embassy and back may take a few days. Around public holidays (e.g., Easter, Christmas), there may be longer processing times. Please plan accordingly. We recommend that you apply at least three weeks before your intended travel dates. Schengen visa applications can be submitted up to six months before the start of the planned trip.
The decision to approve or refuse a visa is entirely up to the German missions. Also note, German missions reserve the right to request missing and/or additional documents in the application process.
